Information about scans, mobile visits, preparation, payment and reports.
Scans and suitability
What ultrasound scans do you offer?
Advance Health provides a range of adult mobile diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, pelvic, renal, breast, lumps and bumps, vascular, and neck scans. Visit the Ultrasound Scans page to compare the available examinations and prices.
How do I know which scan to book?
Each scan page explains its scope, preparation and eligibility. If you are unsure, contact us before booking and describe the area or concern you need assessed. We can explain the available scans but cannot replace advice from your GP or specialist.
Do I need a referral?
Many services allow self-referral, while some examinations may require clinical information or a referral document. The selected scan page and booking form will show the current requirement.
Booking
Can I book without creating an account?
Yes. You can book as a guest. We send a secure, time-limited booking-management link to the email address supplied during booking.
Do I choose a practitioner or clinic location?
No. Choose your scan, date and available time, then provide the visit address. The system assigns an available clinician and the required mobile equipment.
Mobile visits
Where can the mobile examination take place?
Appointments can be arranged at a suitable home, care home, workplace or healthcare setting. Enter the complete visit address during booking and use the message field for parking, access, mobility or on-site contact instructions.
What do I need to provide at the visit address?
Please provide safe access, reasonable privacy and enough clear space for the clinician and portable equipment. Tell us about stairs, restricted access, parking, care-home procedures or other practical needs when booking.
Your appointment
How should I prepare for my scan?
Preparation differs between examinations. Follow the instructions on the selected scan page and in your booking information. Contact our team before the appointment if any instruction is unclear or difficult for you to follow.
What happens during the examination?
The clinician confirms the examination, explains the process, answers questions and obtains consent before beginning. You can ask questions or request that the examination pauses or stops at any time.
Payment and changes
How can I pay?
Available payment methods are shown during booking. Depending on the scan, you can pay online or during the appointment.
Can I reschedule or cancel?
Use the secure Manage Booking link to view the available online options. Rescheduling and cancellation are subject to the notice periods and terms shown during booking. Contact our team if the online cutoff has passed.
Reports and privacy
When will my report be available?
The routine target is up to 48 hours unless the scan page or booking confirmation states otherwise. Released reports are available through protected patient access.
How is my personal and medical information protected?
Booking, address and relevant health information is available only to authorised people who need it to arrange or deliver the appointment. Reports use protected access and expiring download links.
